Larry Bird Kush is a nearly perfect 50/50 hybrid strain named after the famous Boston Celtics basketball player. Also, this strain combines Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies from the famous west coast tastemakers Cookie Fam Genetics. Additionally, the aroma of “The Great White Hope” is thick with sweet grape tang reminiscent of Grape Crush. Deep purple sugar leaves and a dense layer of trichomes illustrate the strain’s indica parentage. Moreover, LBK’s effects are more uplifting and heady, making it a perfect strain for consumers looking for an indica flavour and smell while retaining physical sativa effects.
Larry Bird Kush is an interesting flower to behold. As a result, it can look quite different depending on the harvesting process. Most of the time, this bud is a brilliant forest green with thick & long orange hairs that cover the entire surface of the bud. Other times, a brilliant violet with little hints of minty green that shine through from the middle of the flower. Furthermore, this flower is always covered in a blanket of translucent trichomes, and on occasion a thick resinous layer. Out of the package, this bud will smell like a cross between a new pine air freshener and that classic Kush stink.
