Unicorn Horn is an indica-dominant hybrid with a sativa/indica ratio of 30:70. The statistics on THC and CBD levels are all over the map, with some sources claiming, unconvincingly, that it contains record-breaking concentrations of THC and others claiming it’s high in CBD. In reality, the THC level likely tops out around 20% while CBD levels are unknown. Moreover, the indica genes dominate the high, which is potent, euphoric, and sleepy, with couch-lock effects. It’s good for treating muscle spasms, insomnia, pain, and anxiety. The flavour is citrusy and sweet, with a hint of pine, while the smell is similar.

Effects: Euphoria & Sleepy

Medical: Chronic Pain, Insomnia, Stress

Quality: AAA+

I enjoyed this strain after a long day at work, it took no time to put me asleep. It has a nice earthy smell and and a little hint of pine when you vape it. It was quite nice, a good strain to use in the evening.

Hugh calyxes absolutely dusted with trichomes. Visually reminds me of Love Potion strain with a very sweet/sour tropical fruity flavour. Found the high pretty balanced, would definitely recommend!

Wow this is AAAA top shelf bud! Beautiful cure that was so sticky it was shining. My ounce has two huge chunks – one 11.8 g and the other 13.9 , the rest were large to medium. Strong smell you can that’s the cheese from the genetics and the Cindy 99 makes it so smooth

Cannabis has both medicinal and recreational benefits. Medicinally it is most famous for relieving pain, stress, and insomnia. It may also improve mood and appetite. Every strain has a unique cannabinoid and terpene profile, which leads to distinctive therapeutic value and experiential effects. For those looking for a recreational experience, look for strains with THC — the only known cannabinoid with psychotropic effects.

A Big Wide World of Possibilities

Hybrids are what happens when you mix the genetics of one strain with those of another. Breeders have long combined the qualities of one plant with another to create well-balanced and synergic effects. Did you know most popular strains are technically a hybrid between original landraces: sativa and indica? These creations represent the ideal combination of different strains, for excellent therapeutic results.

The Hybrid Experience

With the sheer number of hybrids on the market today, it’s impossible to pinpoint its specific hybrid experience. Because hybrids are a union between different indica and sativa strains, they come in all shapes, sizes, flavors, and effects. Cannabis breeders have worked hard over the years to combine individual characteristics, for incredible results. It’s why you can enjoy a skunky kush with lemon undertones or a powerful pain-relieving strain, with strong CBD genetics.

The Medicinal Benefits of Hybrids

Hybrids are excellent medicinal strains because breeders have carefully selected for specific cannabinoid and terpene profiles while also downplaying undesirable outcomes. For example, many of the CBD-rich strains we know and love today are beautiful hybrids of less common CBD strains with more popular THC leaning ones. It means you can likely find a strain with an ideal combination of cannabinoids and terpenes, no matter what that combination looks like.

Why Hybrids Matter

The vast majority of strains selected by BC Medi Chronic are, in fact, hybrids. While many are sativa or indica-dominant, almost all products we carry have mixed lineages. Think Cali Kush, Wedding Cake, and Gorilla Glue, all rock star strains, and all hybrids. Cannabis hybrids matter because they represent the best the plant has to offer. Hybridization creates strong medicines, well-balanced experiences, and never-ending possibilities.
